Most things are quiet

Most Things Are Quiet invited four audience members at a time to follow a young man through the streets of Liverpool, listening via silent disco headphones to a live mixed soundscape of the young man's thoughts and memories. It was made in partnership with Papyrus and supported by 92 Degrees Coffee Shop, The Pilgrim Pub and Colin’s house. A slightly adjusted participatory version for 50 young people at a time was also created. Beautiful writing by Stuart Crowther, which was based on his own testimony and experiences, were mixed with moments of one-to-one live performance and immersive sound design to create an experience that allowed the audience to reflect on their own attitudes and how we talk, or don’t talk, openly about suicide.

“Brilliantly executed. The elements of risk allowed us to be truly immersed as it brought real life as close as it can possibly get to a piece of theatre.”

“Very special piece. Stayed with me for a long while after, trying to process what I had seen.”
