Founded by Artistic Director Emma Bramley in 2013, All Things Considered are synonymous with creating beautiful, challenging and socially engaged theatre throughout the North West of England.


All Things Considered  believe collaboration is essential to the creation of their work and regularly collaborate with artists, musicians, performers, facilitators, communities and audiences to create beautiful, meaningful and thought-provoking theatre.

Emma Bramley
Artistic Director

Emma is a highly experienced facilitator, theatre maker and director whose roots lie in applied and socially engaged practice. Having worked within the community with a specific focus on non traditional audiences for over 19 years Emma is passionate about the role that the arts can have in offering participants powerful, meaningful and personal experiences. Emma's practice is underpinned by a rich understanding of educational, social and performance theory, however she likes to make sure her work is purposeful, relevant and beautiful!

Sarah Hogarth
Creative Director

Sarah is a creative producer and director and she creates interactive performances that challenge the boundaries between the spectator and the performer. She is particularly interested in the role of the spectator as co-creator and her performance work allows space for audience members stories, memories and actions to contribute to the unfolding narrative. Sarah worked as a Creative Education Producer for Liverpool European Capital of Culture and is a lecturer at Liverpool John Moores University specialising in Contemporary performance and Applied Drama.


Stephen Hull
Sound Designer

Stephen specialises in the recording and creating of bespoke sound design for theatre and has a particular interest in immersive audio techniques and promenade performance. As well as sound for All Things Considered Theatre, his diverse experience includes sound for film, TV, radio and a range of immersive theatrical productions. Clients include the BBC and he was the Sound Designer for the Hope Street Emerging Artist Programme in Liverpool (2014). Stephen regularly collaborates with directors from The Liverpool Everyman and Playhouse Theatre.

David Coggins

Dave has written for numerous spaces and places, working with All Things Considered on 'Voices From The Past' for Manchester Cathedral, our devised performance ' A Sense of Falling', 'Dr TV and The Television Zombies' and most recently the award winning 'Waiting Room'. He is passionate about creating work which has social engagement at its heart and is constantly curious about finding new ways to work within a collaborative process and with new technologies.
